Once upon a time there was a Perk for 50% off lightweight cotton summer ties from Knot Society that were perfect to wear for anything from a business meeting to a June wedding. You bought a bunch. Lived handsomely ever after. The end. (Told you it was a short story.)
On Saturday, the Freehand will become Drink Miami Hostel. Which means that throughout 17 different rooms and areas, you may find yourself drinking Japanese whiskey, making Old Fashioneds and/or partaking in beer cocktails while synchronized swimmers frolic about the pool. Probably more “and” than “or.”

locally raised fowl.

Just when you thought our cabaret drought would never end, here comes C’est Rouge, a sexy new show that’s decided to make the Faena Theater its home. What you can expect: dancers, singers and acrobats in lingerie doing their thing to jazz and R&B. So... cabaret.
If by random coincidence you find yourself at O Cinema this Saturday night, you’ll likely encounter a bar, some mock yearbook photos and a screening of Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Pretend it’s both random and a coincidence.
In the course of a 60-minute class at this new Fitbox place, you’ll:
1) Move some dumbbells and medicine balls around.
2) Pedal absolutely nowhere on a Schwinn Airdyne bike.
3) Show a heavy boxing bag who the new fists of fury belong to.
4) Not ever say “fists of fury” out loud.
