Life can be tricky sometimes.
If you don’t do the right thing, you won’t end up at Horsefeather, one of the best new bars this town’s seen in a long time, which will be opening any night now on Divisadero.
But if you do, you will.
Guess that wasn’t so tricky after all...
Anyway, you may have frequented this very same bar when it was Tsk Tsk, a Horsefeather precursor. There was a lot to like, so that just makes good sense.
This one, though, is basically a take on a neighborhood joint. A classy yet unostentatious one rife with warm woods and mid-century details. One that you can stop by anytime for a drink before a show at the Independent or a nightcap after dinner at Nopa. Simple. Effective.
You’ll notice some changes from the Tsk Tsk days. Good ones, like the California Cooler with sauvignon blanc, sparkling wine, gin, lime and horseradish (check out some of the drinks here).
And did we mention that the food (looking at you, clay pot chicken wings and housemade burrata with Thai basil pesto) is from a chef who was at Foreign Cinema and Blue Plate? And that weekend brunch is coming soon? No?
