A Tale of Two End-of-Season Sales

Your end-of-February weather forecast: beats us. Your end-of-February sale forecast: up to 60% off Gitman Bros. Vintage shirts and Schott leather jackets at Rider, plus sizable discounts on A.P.C. sweaters, Paul Smith pants and Billy Reid blazers at Apartment No. 9. Apparently sales are still unaffected by climate change.

CROQUE’S ON YOU

Good Weekend to Continue Liking Brunch

We don’t know if you’re still into the whole brunch thing, but there’s a new one at Corridor Brewery & Provisions. It involves croque madame brioche waffles (pictured), blue crab salad benedicts and a top-secret Bloody Mary mix. Again, though, only if you’re still into brunch.

Watching the Oscars at a Rooftop Bar
AND THE OSCAR PARTY GOES TO...

Watching the Oscars at a Rooftop Bar

Leo: Hope I win Sunday night.
You: Same. I’m voting for you in the J.Parker’s “Oscar Madness” bracket pool.
Leo: What’s that?
You: Just something they’ll have during their viewing party, along with personal bottles of champagne.
Leo: You think people will vote for Redmayne?
You: ...
Leo: Fucking Redmayne.

Texas + Tiki + Disco = This
DISCO INFERNO

Texas + Tiki + Disco = This

From Sunday to next Friday, Lost Lake becomes a Texas Tiki Disco. “Texas” comes from their partnership with Houston-based Anvil Bar & Refuge. “Tiki” comes from their special menu of tropical classic drinks like the coconut-y Absinthe Gullywash. “Disco” comes from Thank You’s ’70s-style appetizers (read: pigs in a blanket). And maybe you dancing.
