Here Goes Sodikoff Again

A world-renowned latte artist spent years training Brendan Sodikoff’s staff before the opening of Sawada Coffee, which has Doughnut Vault donuts, scotch-and-honey steamers and a ping-pong table. In other news: apparently latte artists can be world-renowned.

Four Hours of Home Alone

A little under four hours: the amount of time you and a date will spend watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2 at Thalia Hall’s double feature. A little under four seconds: the amount of time you legitimately considered pressing on to watch Home Alone 3.

PRESENT DAY

Basically a Gift-Shopping Block Party

REINDEER GAMES

Sorry, Rudolph

Through December, the Butcher’s Tap will have a burger called the Rudolph. It’s made with Michigan farm-raised reindeer, cheddar, tempura jalapeños and a dollop of housemade tomato-and-bacon puree that bears a striking resemblance to a red nose. The most disturbing part of this news: Santa’s reindeer are raised in Michigan.
