Because that’s time you’re not spending at Loosie’s Kitchen, a French-NOLA Elysium that looks like a quintessential California patio, and might be the best Brooklyn opening of the year. It opens tonight in Williamsburg as part of Loosie Rouge.

Quick primer: it’ll remind you a little bit of Maison Premiere vibe- and food-wise (not bad at all). It’s an offshoot of a recently opened bar next door that has many excellent cocktails on tap. It used to be Fatty ’Cue, whose patio you remember. And they’ve improved immensely on that patio.

We’re talking lattice here, people. So give the slideshow a chance, and be a better human for it.
