John from Oakleaf & Acorn will be hanging out at a Westside furniture showroom tomorrow through Saturday. But go tomorrow. That way you can grab a whiskey cider drink along with all the ceramic flasks, leather card cases, bison-skin gloves and pickled carrots you desire. Pickled carrots, people.
Maybe don’t shave tomorrow morning. Unless, of course, you want to miss out on a gratis beard trim from the Trophy Room Barber Shop guy while enjoying a vodka-something from an open bar and checking out blazers and chinos and things from Bill Hallman’s new Gant collection. Then shave.
Last year, Tongue & Groove turned 19. Which means that this year it turns 20. Which means that when you show up tomorrow, expect to find a red carpet, fire jugglers, acrobats and Italian DJs with boxes on their heads. Not sure. They just have boxes on their heads.
