There’s no time to waste.
Seriously, none.
Because this is the Ultimate Heliski/Board Weekend, wherein a helicopter will deposit you among European mountains over the course of a particularly exhilarating three-day weekend, now booking for a February 6 departure. (See the slideshow.)
You’ll have about 60 hours. And this is how you’ll spend them.
FRIDAY
6:59am: Already know how to ski.
7am: Catch a flight from Heathrow to Geneva.
9:45am: Meet the waiting helicopter. It’ll bring you straight to the Alps on the French/Italian border to begin a day of multiple drops.
2:30pm: More helicopter, but this time, you’re going to lunch. In France. Snack on local specialties like beef pavé and duck foie gras at the La Fruitiere restaurant.
SATURDAY
9am: Ride the lift up to the summit of Val d’Isère for tree and bowl skiing and picturesque views of the Tignes Dam.
1pm: Après lunch, explore some technical off-piste slopes with an instructor and maybe a brandy-toting Saint Bernard as your guide. But definitely an instructor.
4:30pm: Grab a drink at Hôtel Le Brussel’s. You earned it.
SUNDAY
9:30am: Squeeze in two more heli-drops and some lunch on the mountain before you take...
4pm: Right, a helicopter. This time it’s back to Geneva Airport.
So no jumping.
Seriously, none.
