You should hit Billy Reid’s made-to-measure event this weekend. Sure, they’ll have plenty of fall staples like tweed, cashmere and plaid. But they’ll also be showing off a new print with tiny foxes all over it. And everyone knows that tiny foxes beat no foxes.
Well, the Atlanta Cheese Festival made it back for a second year. It’s at the Botanical Garden this time. So much cheese. But your main concern: judging the grilled cheese competition between places like Muss & Turner’s and Highland Bakery. “Concern” may not have been the right word.
Tomorrow night, head over to the Body Art Ball at the Georgia Freight Depot. But only if you’re interested in seeing a bunch of burlesque performers, pole dancers, aerialists and belly dancers wearing nothing but a coat of paint. Otherwise maybe go to another freight depot.
Since you deserve to be kept abreast of all the hand-rolled, boiled bagel developments in this town, meet Emerald City Bagels. Specifically, their new Cabbagetown pop-up on Sundays with things like jalapeño-cheese bagels and Pearis Stilton spreads. Nice one, bagel people.
