Evidence that change is, in fact, good: Frozen Pints just switched its name to the Ice Cream Bar to encompass its new line of alcohol-based ice creams (mojito sorbet, White Russian, bourbon butter pecan...), which have three shots in each pint. Don’t forget your ID.
We’re heading into the kind of long weekend where you’ll probably need some meatball sliders and Cake Shakes at an ungodly hour. Good thing Delia’s just opened a bi-level second location on the Westside, with one of those levels being a repurposed shipping container. Meatballs and shipping containers somehow feels right.

On the Fourth, you could go pretty much anywhere and find burgers and beer. Or you could go to Ration and Dram and find pork-belly-and-watermelon kebabs, rum-based tiki drinks and the World Cup quarterfinals being shown. We’re not saying one is the “right” way. And we’re not not.
Up until this weekend, the Bishop has been dinner only. But since lunch is also a thing you need, they’ll open at noon with brunchy specials. Think shrimp and Creole pimento cheese grits served with eggs over easy and Bloodys. Also think, “Mmm.”
