Well, that happened. You shoveled yourself out (again).

So safe to say you’re probably not thinking about the fact that grilling season is just a few weeks away.

Fortunately, someone else is. And they’ve got a bike.

Here’s an outfit called Tenleytown Meat Company, which delivers shares of whole cows and lambs to you via mountain bike, taking orders now for late March drop-offs.

If you need to get 50 pounds of meat into your freezer before April (yup, Final Four halftime grill-off), then this green, cooler-toting mountain bike is your friend.

You’ll visit their site and decide exactly how much locally raised, grass-fed beef or lamb you’d like—from 20 pounds all the way up to a half animal. Then your steaks will be dry-aged, frozen and—if you live in one of the 14 Northwest neighborhoods in their delivery zone—dropped off by the bike. (If you’re a little short on freezer space, they’ll split your order into multiple deliveries.)

If you live on, say, Capitol Hill, don’t worry. You can pick up your quarry at any of four time slots per month at a church in Tenleytown.

Carnivorous churches are the best.
