The Weekender

Girls Dancing in Boxes and Other Matters of the Weekend

There, there. The weekend’s here now.

Thursday
Girls Dancing in Boxes. Should Be Fun.
FORT BOX

Girls Dancing in Boxes. Should Be Fun.

A good cure for cabin fever: going to 7 Stages, grabbing a drink and watching this... interesting performance. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it’ll involve seven dancers, each dancing in and around six-foot-tall black boxes. Guess it wasn’t that hard to explain.

Friday
Late-Night Endless Pizza at No. 246
THIS IS THE ENDLESS

Late-Night Endless Pizza at No. 246

Last weekend, No. 246 stayed open until 11pm and didn’t have all-you-can-eat pizza. This and future weekends, No. 246 will stay open until midnight and let you have all the margherita and salami pizza you can consume for $6. Maybe don’t have pizza for dinner on weekends.

Fri-Sat, No. 246, 129 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, 678-399-8246

Saturday
Sunday: Super Bowl. Saturday: This.
PER SUIT OF HAPPINESS

Sunday: Super Bowl. Saturday: This.

It’s supposed to be in the 60s on Saturday. Which means you can go outside again. To a park. Where there’s a benefit thing with beer from Monday Night Brewing, a DJ and people playing tackle football in three-piece suits. A lot’s changed since the last time you went outside.

Sunday
You Should Probably Super-Bowl Here
VICTORY CHANT

You Should Probably Super-Bowl Here

You’re on the fence about going to Victory’s Super Bowl party. We can help.

PROS
  • Gratis snacks like nachos, popcorn and pimento cheese.
  • 10-foot wide projection screen.
  • Impromptu ping-pong matches at halftime, in case Bruno isn’t doing it for you.

Buckhead’s New Indian Spot Is This

A new Indian restaurant called Copper Cove is about to open in Buckhead. It’s casual. Real simple stuff here. The kind of place you’ll pop into around lunch, have some lamb shish kebabs with an Indian spiced tea, and pop out of. Walking works, too.
