Weatherman says it’s going to approach freezing tonight.
We say go stand on a roof and have some wine tonight.
Who’re you going to listen to...
Think toasty thoughts for The Rooftop at Nora, an elevated outdoor spot with a fire pit, warming pinots and a fine, fine view, opening tomorrow on Lower Greenville.
You know the old saying: “There’s never a bad time for a new rooftop bar. Especially when said rooftop bar has a big stone fire pit, heat lamps, white cushioned lounge chairs and a full bar.” Yup, that’s the saying all right.
So when it becomes apparent that dinner below is leading to drinks above, find those stairs in the back of Nora and climb. There’s some bench seating around the fire. Sit there. Then request red wine, strong whiskey or anything else that’ll keep the blood flowing. Scotch, perhaps.
And if you’d like to try all this, minus the crowd, no problem. The rooftop is available for private parties.
We suppose you and a bunch of s’mores qualifies.
