There’s no shortage of good live music venues in Deep Ellum.
You’ve got Club Dada. Trees. LaGrange.
Wait, no, not LaGrange. It closed late last year, leaving a void in the live music landscape that... we’re going to fill right now with a new bar.
Carry on.
Welcome to the stage Three Links, an industrial hangout you’ll frequent for draft beers and rock shows, now open in Deep Ellum in the old LaGrange space.
This stone-walled spot is an all-in-one watering hole/concert hall. There’s a bar, naturally. It’s got 16 taps and plenty of bourbon. There’s a stage, of course. It’s all red and dramatic and will host a bunch of local and touring acts. And the walls, well, they’re covered in art that pays homage to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. There’s no shame in Googling that.
On quieter weeknights, you’ll want to claim a bar stool and order a beer. Sit. Make small talk. Have a second beer. Then, on weekends when bands take the stage, you’ll... probably do much of the same, really. Just with less sitting and talking, and with more standing/jumping around/lighter waving.
Oh, and if you’re hungry, no problem. Okay, slight problem. There’s no food yet. But there’s an adjoining pass-through to the space next door, which will become a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in about a month.
You know what they say about watched taco shops...
