More explanation: eight breweries will be at the game, along with a German band, sauerbraten sandwiches and photo ops with the cheerleaders. Because, well, you like those things.
Imagine yourself at brunch this weekend. There’s a DJ, of course. Bottomless mimosas: obviously. Oh, right... and a bunch of bunnies, pygmy goats and chickens just hanging out on the patio waiting to get petted. Ah, you must be at Cucina Asellina. That’s what they’re setting up on Sunday. For some reason.
On the record, a new food truck with French-style crepes is launching in Midtown next Thursday. Off the record, it’s doing some semisecret preopening business starting Monday. Just email Giovanna (she’s the owner) and track her down. Get a peach-bourbon-and-bacon crepe. Semisecret preopening business is the greatest.
