Your After-Work Short Rib Sliders

Compared to last week, it’s been a really long week. So we figured right about now you could really use some sort of relief. Cue Cucina Asellina and STK. They’re teaming up for a little after-work special of gratis apps, dry martinis and short rib in the form of sliders. Love thy neighbors.

Friday
Sake Floats at Hudson North
HUDSON HAWK

Sake Floats at Hudson North

Here’s something new: a pop-up within a pop-up. Hudson North is commissioning Eli Kirshtein to take over the menu this weekend. Up his sleeve: pork skewers, sashimi and Ginger-Yuzu Floats (ginger ice cream, ginger ale, sake). Also up his sleeve: arms.

Monday
Drinking Mimosas with Thomas Keller
BAKED GOODS

Drinking Mimosas with Thomas Keller

Mimosas. They’re not just for Sundays anymore. Seriously, you should try one on a Monday. Like this Monday, at Aria, with a bunch of fresh pastries and Thomas Keller (yes, the French Laundry/Per Se guy). He’ll be there doing a meet and greet for his new cookbook. No, you don’t have to read it.

Tuesday
Reservoir Dogs Turns 20. Watch It Here.
DOG YEARS

Reservoir Dogs Turns 20. Watch It Here.

So, Reservoir Dogs just turned 20. And to celebrate, you’re going to grab a date and head to the recently-renovated-with-reclining-seats Phipps Plaza for a special screening. Hey, it was this or cut a man’s ear off...

Wednesday

Food 101 Has a New Bourbon Bar

Food 101 is having a five-course charity dinner next Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, the official opening of their new bourbon bar, Barrel Bar. The place has a new look (think butcher paper instead of white linens) and a whole bunch of bourbon. Because, you know, there’s a bourbon bar.
