WAKEUP CALL

Salsa Bloodys and Brunch at Treehouse

The Time: 11am
The Table: 23—if you’re lucky, that is. They don’t take reservations, but this table catches the most sun around brunch. The good news: not a bad seat in the house.
Status Report: Start out low-key at this semi-hidden institution with some Eggs Sardou and White Peach Mimosas. And maybe some calisthenics.

WARM-UP

Post-Park Fishbowls at the Nook

The Time: 3pm
The Table: 20 or 32—both are tucked away in the corner and also happen to be the most sun-kissed.
Status Report: Chances are, you’ve just had your way with Piedmont Park and could use a Drunken Astronaut right about now—a 10-person fishbowl filled with Tang, Sprite and wild berry vodka. So have fun with that... then walk back to the park.

HALFTIME

Bespoke Riverside Dining at Canoe

The Time: 7:30pm
The Table: The Garden Table—a brand-new outdoor kitchen/communal table directly on the river’s edge.
Status Report: The sun is setting. You need a breather... also, food. Chef Carvel will create a customized dinner for you and your fellow sun chasers and prepare it tableside at the outdoor grill. Or as you like to call it, a halftime show.

PREGAME

Live Music and Sangria at the Big Ketch

The Time: 10:30pm
The Table: 85—it’s the best place to see and/or be seen. Also, it’s right next to the band.
Status Report: It’s that part of the night when live music, a beachy vibe and a few white sangrias go a long way. So do the sundresses left over from the afternoon.

NIGHTCAP

DJs and Skyline at Whiskey Blue

The Time: 12:30am
The Table: 54—it’s the largest, has the best rooftop views and sits directly in the heart of the action.
Status Report: It’s the last leg of your epic alfresco journey. Which means DJs, gin and some quality time with that bachelorette party (this place is crawling with them) on the dance floor. Bachelorette parties are for closers.
