Brought to you by a few local guys who've promoted at 330 Ritch and Slide, Manor West is your new go-to place for a respectable evening of revelry, indulgent decor and plenty of elbow room.
There's no name or address outside, so look for the velvet rope and doorman at the corner of Lapu Lapu and Harrison. Inside, the proportions are nearly Vegas-size, with high ceilings, handmade chandeliers and an elevated VIP mezzanine of brown leather booths perfect for some serious crowd-appraising.
We suspect significant action will occur near the main bar, which showcases a bar-length mural of a nearly nude woman draped in fur (there's just something about drinking near a semi-naked woman in fur). Or stake out the tables between the entrance and the DJ booth, where a nearby rubber-topped stage area offers optimal traction for dancing and other activities that require optimal traction.
All in all, anything that happens on rubber is worth watching.
