Love Medicine will be celebrating their first anniversary this Saturday night with a celebration fundraiser benefitting The Rainforest Trust, a non-profit working to protect the world's most threatened species and ecosystems.
As we've come to expect with events thrown by the female artist collective behind Love Medicine, the evening will start with a communal dinner dreamed up by Chef Feli: five-courses served in a thoughtfully curated space, while Merkabah Sound provides a sonic landscape to converse over (but stop to notice and appreciate, on occasion)—before you move into another space for dancing to the sounds of Lum, Eli Light, Isaiah Martin and Son of a Son.
The event won't take place in a warehouse, nor a nightclub, nor a restaurant or hotel. While the exact location remains under wraps until closer to the event, you can expect an intimate private space, perfect for an event combining elements of performance, culinary art, dance and rave.
Mar 3, 8pm, $55—$125, Love Medicine: Roots: Dinner Dance Series, location TBA, tickets here
