Claus Meyer Is Taking Over the Kitchen at Norman

For One Night Only: Crispy Rye Sandwiches, Cod Donuts and Other New Nordic Delights

Recall Norman, Greenpoint's gleaming beacon of natural light, preserved vegetables, raw fish and general Nordic-ness from chefs Claus Meyer and Fredrik Berselius.

Well next Tuesday, Claus Meyer is making his kitchen debut, for one night, and one night only, alongside Norman's executive chef Andrew Whitcomb. Each dish involves a grain component—an intentional nod to Claus' newly released second cookbook, Meyer's Bakery—and they'll be serving up a menu of raw marinated mackerel with kohlrabi; cod donuts with dill mayonnaise; braised beef cheeks; and rye bread porridge with sea buckthorn and rye crumble.

Check out the full menu and secure your seats below.

Nov 28, 7:30pm-10pm, $70, Norman, 29 Norman Ave (between Dobbin and Banker), Brooklyn, tickets here
