Sometimes, you just want bourbon and whiskey.
Other times, a sandwich.
Yeah, you get where this is going...
Directly to the Craftsman, a New York City import that specializes in brown liquor and sandwiches, sweet sandwiches. Unlike its sister to the north, this one is a year-long pop-up, so plan the next 365 days accordingly. It's open now in Brickell and looks like this.
You and a few hearty friends will head to the old Brother Jimmy's BBQ spot and notice the wooden tables, leather couches, antique mirrors and elaborate rugs. And yes, that's a "Let's Misbehave" neon sign glowing over there, as well as a stage for live music. So it's... different now.
Your first order of business will be finding a few spots at the lacquered wood and Travertine tile bar. Rounds of She's in Fashion cocktails with bourbon, orange bitters and brown sugar cubes will happen. As will the Everything Avocado Toast. And Ruebens. And cheesesteaks and chicken parms. Many things will happen.
But maybe have your next round outside on the terrace overlooking the courtyard.
Because, yes, this bar has both sandwiches and a courtyard.
