Emirates makes sure you’ve got plenty of space to relax while you’re in the air.

So today, we’re making sure you’ve got plenty of space to roam once you hit the ground.

Behold: the six most magnificently spacious must-visits at Emirates destinations around the globe.

The Destination: Dubai, UAE.
The Wide Open Space: The picturesque red sand dunes of the Lahbab region just south of Dubai, where you'll be encouraged to go off-roading (or "dune bashing") and sleep under the stars in a cozy, lamp-lit Bedouin tent. Although, if you'd prefer, you can always see the desert from a hot air balloon.

The Destination: Christchurch, New Zealand.
The Wide Open Space: Arthur’s Pass National Park. Just a two hour drive from Christchurch, the park is located in the heart of the Southern Alps, and is renowned for its overwhelming natural beauty. As you can tell...

The Destination: The Seychelles.
The Wide Open Space: Anse Georgette, perhaps the least crowded and most private entry in the category of Unbelievably Beautiful Seychelles Beaches, all of which occupy space on this magnificent cluster of islands in the Indian Ocean.

The Destination: Oslo, Norway.
The Wide Open Space: The world-famous (and seriously picturesque) Norwegian fjords, accessible from Oslo via the Bergen Railway. Prepare your Instagram captions accordingly.

The Destination: Lyon, France.
The Wide Open Space: This golf course in Tignes, a quick day-trip from Lyon, is the highest altitude golf course in Europe. We assure you it’s a very spacious, with the exception of some hard-to-hit fairways.

The Destination: Milan, Italy.
The Wide Open Space: Teatro alla Scala, an awe-inspiring 18th century opera house. It’s a very different, albeit ear-pleasing, conception of a wide open space.
