You’ll recall Marianne’s, the handsome members-only bar behind a bookcase at the Cavalier that recently closed for a bit. Well, it’s back, and now you can go there whenever you want for things like rye-scotch-vermouth cocktails and smoked trout dip. Which is decidedly better than not being able to do that.
You should get a new messenger bag or backpack. Partly because you just... should. But mostly because Timbuk2 is throwing a party in their factory store in the Mission with Fort Point beer, skee-ball, food and music. And messenger bags. And backpacks.
Drake’s Brewing. Fine local establishment. And as fate would have it, they’re throwing a 27th-anniversary party on Friday with tastes of original beers from 1989, new releases, rare barrel-aged beauties and live music. Fate is a funny thing.
