Two Georgia lawyers with a strong eye for solid neckwear did that thing where they commissioned European mills to custom-make fabrics and then got some New York tailors to craft those fabrics into exquisite bow ties. Why don’t you get a few to wear this spring.
It’s Wednesday, and you deserve something nice. Something like a haircut in a new barbershop in Lower Haight. A barbershop with comfy black barber chairs, a pinball machine and a friendly dog named Lucifer. Every barbershop should have a friendly dog named Lucifer.
Tequila. Mezcal. Things made with agave. You’ll be consuming a fair amount of those at Calavera’s Agave Fest, which involves things like tastings and guest bartenders and agave-friendly snacks from agave-growing regions of Mexico. We’ll say agave one more time for good measure. Agave.

Cheese. That’s what’s happening on Saturday during this pop-up thing at the Stow Lake Boathouse. You’ll drink wine, eat fondue and raclette, and generally applaud yourself for doing that. And they’re having another dinner in May if you miss out on tickets. Or if you just want to go again in May.
This weekend, you celebrate the life of the Purple One as he would have wanted: by dancing. By dancing just so much at Mezzanine. There will be DJs. They’ll be playing music all night. And that music will be Prince’s music. And that’s probably a thing that you guessed.
