The Latest Thing at Mina Test Kitchen Is...

You remember Mina Test Kitchen. It’s that ever-morphing restaurant on Greenwich where, a few months back, you enjoyed Middle Eastern deliciousness. And more recently, Little Italy–style red sauce deliciousness. Now, it’s the Company, which involves prix fixe Indian deliciousness complete with wine pairings. In summary: deliciousness.

Thursday
So Much Gold. So Many Dance Moves.
ALL THAT GLITTERS

So Much Gold. So Many Dance Moves.

When you think of the Asian Art Museum, you might not think “Campy Solid Gold–themed party in which all attendees are encouraged to wear gold.” Or “DJs. And maybe some choreographed dance moves.” Well, you’re going to on Thursday night, because pretty much all of that’s happening.

Friday
New Beer in the Old Abbot’s Cellar Space
SINNERS AND SAINT

New Beer in the Old Abbot’s Cellar Space

Formerly on Valencia: Abbot’s Cellar, a stunning beer temple, complete with a thoughtful menu and beer pairings.
Currently on Valencia: Brasserie Saint James, a new stunning beer temple, complete with over 12 beers brewed in-house and things like lamb tartare and bone marrow canoes. Always with the bone marrow canoes.

Saturday
Runny-Egg Brunch Pizza on the Embarcadero
CAPPY DAYS

Runny-Egg Brunch Pizza on the Embarcadero

Pizza for breakfast is a good idea. Especially when you eat it at Caputo, that nice pizza joint off the Embarcadero with bay views and a shiny new brunch that involves a pie topped with pancetta, burrata and a runny egg. It involves other things, too, but mostly that.

Sat-Sun, 10am-2:30pm, Caputo, 100 Brannan St (at the Embarcadero), 415-543-9720, see the menu

Sunday
You’ve Probably Never Drank This Before
PULQUE FICTION

You’ve Probably Never Drank This Before

You’ve got your agave spirits down. Mezcal: sure. Tequila: of course. Now, it’s time to get acquainted with pulque. It’s a milky-white spirit made from the sap of the agave plant, and you’re about to taste it and learn all about it this Sunday at Old Bus Tavern. Education is neat.
