The weekend’s getting the band back together.
Your Perks: 1) Bikes for cruising down the block to get fresh-pressed juice. And other non-juice-related items... 2) The kind of sunglasses that make strangers stop in their tracks and declare interjections. Like “Wow.” 3) Shorts, pants and shirts specially designed to keep you looking (and smelling) fresh during workouts.
You know the Mill. You’ve probably stood in line for toast there. Unnecessarily good toast. Well, they’re turning three today, and celebrating by not making you give them money for grilled cheese, soup and beer. Which sort of feels wrong but also not at all.
Sometimes you put on LCD Soundsystem and dance around at your place. Sometimes you go to the Rickshaw Stop for an LCD-inspired dance party while a DJ plays the music instead. The second thing you do seems better.
Let’s say you want to see a different live band every day for 10 days straight. 1) That’s pretty ambitious. 2) That’s pretty doable at Noise Pop, which involves you, however many dates you feel are necessary and a huge lineup of indie acts playing all over town. Not seeing them all: also allowed.

hot dogs, chorizo on fresh bread and corn tortillas.

Sunday. A day for reflection. For laundry. Or... for watching the best female bartenders in San Francisco compete in a rapid-fire drinks-making competition while you sip punch, eat snacks and feel really good about doing all of that.
