Daniel Delaney (of BrisketTown fame) has a chicken place now. Amali has a gyro spot. No. 7 has a veggie burger. Roberta’s has multiplied. There’s some really intense toast now. All of this is happening in the same place, right near Grand Central. Going seems like the thing to do.
Twice a year, the good folks at Ring Jacket make their way here from Japan to bring you some really smashing sport coats and blazers made out of materials no one has ever seen before. This is one of those times. Fortunate you.
Singing along with other people to pop music while drinking beer is one of those “why not?” issues, correct? So maybe jot down that exactly that is happening Friday in Park Slope.
If you haven’t been to L’Amico yet, we recommend it. If you haven’t tried the meal “brunch” yet, strange. But L’Amico’s all over that now with basil-infused-vodka Bloodys and omelette soufflé cacio a pepe. That is indeed three dishes in one.
A funky little new Japanese noodle and sandwich spot has been born. You can put pork chops or pastrami on the noodles. The pork-chops-as-a-topping era is long overdue.
