Here’s something to get you ready for Outside Lands: tonight’s pre-party at Azalea. You’ll drink drinks. Listen to live music. Eat something chocolaty from Choco-Lands. Maybe acquire a sweater. And fine, it’s like a pre-pre-pre-party.
For weekday power lunching: Head to Mourad’s (pictured) new lunch for Basteeya duck,
braised lamb and other powerful things.
For leisurely weekend brunching: Belga allows that now. Sit outside. Have a beer. Eat a
beignet. Feel decidedly more Belgian.

It’s basically an endless meat feast at Charles Krug, with over 50 chefs from restaurants like SPQR and Press serving up 3,000 pounds of roast lamb and grilled goat and guinea hen/rabbit tacos. See. Meat feast.
And this is the part about a fleeting gallery exhibit with some rare Marilyn Monroe photos. The slightly censored Let’s Make Love photos. The unpublished nudes from the Red Velvet session photos. The other Marilyn Monroe photos. Might be worth a visit. Just might.
