And this breezy indoor/outdoor hangout for watching sports, drinking beer and eating Creole-inspired foodstuffs is soft-open now on Lower Greenville. (See it here.)
This comes from the “Original” Dodie’s guy. That explains the Creole part. But here you’ve got a big, four-sided bar anchoring the place. Plus a few booths along the wall, some tables in back and big garage doors in front that open to the street. That explains the breezy part.
So this is what you’ll want to do. Stroll in tonight. Grab a seat at the wooden bar and look in basically any direction. Because there you’ll find a TV with a game on. Then proceed to order a cold beer and something to eat—we’re feeling bullish on the Creole Burger with onion rings.
But if you’re looking for brunch, most of the above still applies. Just come by tomorrow or Sunday and order some breakfast tacos or the Andouille Sausage Biscuits and Gravy to pair with your Bloody Mary.
And soon, they’ll be turning that space out front into a patio.
