Going into business with family is never a good idea.
Well, unless that business is beer...
... which benefits us directly.
In that case, great idea.
And thank you.
Locate your favorite koozie for Bitter Sisters Brewing Company, a family-run operation that’s making beer and then pouring it in their shiny new taproom, opening tomorrow in Addison. (See it here.)
One day, you may tire of new local beers to try. Sorry, could barely say that with a straight face... So oblige your curiosity and swing by. They’re offering Saturday tours, if you want to see how it all works. Otherwise, just request a pint at the handsome wood-and-stone bar.
You’ve got four beers to try, including Cat Fight (an IPA) and Knock Out, an Irish red ale. And for those times when you’re not actually here, you can still drink the beer. Just go to places like Flying Saucer, the Londoner, LUCK, and Craft and Growler.
Down the road, open days and hours will expand. And soon you can look forward to more beers, too, like seasonal releases and a Belgian tripel.
Well, Belgian by way of Addison.
