Let’s pretend Neil Patrick Harris is hosting this email.

Wow, that was a pretty incredible musical number about beer.
Your nights will run long at Sunset Reservoir Brewing Company, a cavernous hideout of beer-drenched mussels, beer-braised pork and also just beer—now open in the Outer Sunset. (Here’s the menu and the slideshow.)
It’s a massive two-level hideout. Used to be a produce market. Now there’s chevron floors, lots of tables, lots of open air and clinking glasses, and it may surprise you to learn that there are some Edison bulbs strung up. That may also not surprise you.
It’s the kind of place where you could just swing by anytime for flights of the five house beers they’re brewing—there’s a sour wheat beer, a blonde, a double IPA, a rye amber and a dry Irish stout.
It’s also the kind of place that could become your couple-nights-a-week go-to. Everybody needs a few of those. Especially when there’s a full bar, mussels, beer-braised pork with sriracha spaetzle and a Sunset Burger, with two patties and cheddar on a brioche bun.
That warm feeling you feel all around you means you’re nearing all this burger-and-beer greatness...
Or Travolta’s getting a little too close.
