Winter, as they say, is coming.

It’s coming with great vengeance and furious anger.

And: let it snow. And just... all the Hollywood sayings that apply here, imagine we’ve just said them and the point is made.

Then right on cue, here’s Feit—a Nolita corner shop with a handful of sneakers and boots that are just the best versions of those things, now open.

Look at these boots. Wool-lined, all-leather masterpieces that look like they ought to come with a four-wheel-drive option. And the sneakers... it’s like they took all the collective knowledge gained in the history of sneaker success and turned it into leather and suede embodiments of what a foot would beg for if it could talk.

The shop’s not too shabby either. It was designed by a light-installation artist (hence the light installations) and is basically the perfect spot to ask them about their made-to-measure and custom operations.

Or whatever deep thing you feel like asking them about.
