When things are darkest, keep going up until you get to the light.

It worked for Batman.

And it works here: IChing, two dark and moody floors of Asian fusion food topped off with a very cool rooftop, opening Friday at 7th and Florida.

Inside, it’s not your typical Asian spot. Yeah, there’s a Buddha statue or two, but mostly it’s full of brick, metal sculptures and Edison bulbs. (See the place here.)

Looks like they could almost be serving shrimp and grits. But no. Here you’ll be settling into a dark nook and doing spring rolls. Sautéed foie gras with grilled pineapple. Mongolian lamb chops.

Or the bar. Couple TVs there. Not a bad place for Sunday brunch. Especially if you’ve wondered what it’s like to have beef red curry while watching football (it’s not that much different, really).

Oh, and the rooftop. That. Head up there for cocktails with Japanese vodka and green-tea-infused sake. And do it ASAP because there’s a plan afoot to cover it and launch a menu of Korean BBQ and hot pots for the winter, but that might not arrive before the first cold snap.

BYO heat lamp can be kind of cumbersome.
