This isn’t going to be easy. But let’s all get through this without thinking of Miley Cyrus. See, that great roaster that’s popped up around town finally has an actual café, with pastries from Marla Bakery. It’s called Wrecking Ball, and it was called that long before... other things happened.
Head to the new Black Sands microbrewery and restaurant, and you’ll see... neither microbrewery nor restaurant. None of that’s happening for a few months. In the meantime, there’s a little supply store stocked with all the hops, yeast, malt and equipment you need for homebrewing. To tide you over.
You may or may not be watching football on Sunday. Either way, you’ll be content at Blueprint Tap Room’s brunch kickoff—they’ve got a couple 55-inch screens if you care, and brioche french toast with stout caramel whether you care or not.
