Oh, what the hell. Here, have another Logan Square open-air soiree. This one’s hosted by the fine people of Longman & Eagle. They’ll be serving lamb kebabs, shrimp ceviche, beer, whiskey and a peach-tea punch. And any urge you have to dance will be fully respected. Just saying.
Mahoney’s is hosting this year’s HogFight. Here’s how it works: seven chefs will do their very best to a whole hog. Then they’ll serve it to you. Then randomly selected fest-goers will join the judges to select a winner, who shall be named HogFather. No, that’s a good thing.
