Spring.
It officially starts next week.
Which means this weekend you’ll be cleaning up around your home. Going through old files. Dusting.
Or... kicking things off on a totally revamped pool deck in NoMi.
Head out back to The Pool Deck at Duffy’s Sports Grill, a swanky new playland of frozen drinks, flat-screens and pool-related activities, now open and throwing a massive party tomorrow afternoon.
You remember Duffy’s. Huge realm of sports paraphernalia, beer taps and docked boats. Some patio furniture by the pool. Kids running around. Well, things have changed. And it’s as if Rodney Dangerfield’s character from Back to School did the redesign. Think: 200 TVs. Tiki torches. Poolside frozen-drink machines churning out margaritas. And a strict 18-and-over policy on the deck. (Sorry, kids.)
So naturally, there’s a big party tomorrow. Starts at 2pm. Basketball games will be on the TVs. Bartenders will be slinging two-for-one drinks. DJ Bantista will be spinning until 8pm. Should be a good time.
But don’t worry, not everything has changed. You can still order the loaded potato skins, chicken wings with atomic sauce and their infamous Hangover Burger (bacon, sunny-side-up egg, cheese).
Grab one for Sunday, too.
