This is an event called “Boots and Bourbon.” They have boots and bourbon. The boots are Wolverine and Red Wing kind of boots, the bourbon is punch, and there are Taylor Stitch overshirts you can’t get elsewhere. But “Boots and Bourbon and Overshirts” was less catchy.
There are two ways to celebrate Chinese New Year. Well, there are a lot, but let’s just focus on the traditional—a 10-course banquet of stir-fried lobster for 10 people at M.Y. China—or the... Hakkasan. Hakkasan will have a lion dance on Friday. Huh. Might have to do both.

By day, Ironside is still Ironside. By night, it’s now a barbecue spot. So come by after dark with a date for a carnal session of pulled pork, ribs and cheddar grits. And the next day, it’ll just be normal Ironside again. Sort of like the barbecue version of Ladyhawke.
