Basically, a lot of wonderful things have converged here—you’re outside. On a mountain. In the snow. By a swimming pool. There’s a stone-covered patio and a bar covered by some open rafters. In your immediate vicinity are full racks of ribs and ski goggles over bangs and growlers of beer and your road-trip companion, who has somehow managed to look amazing in a down-filled onesie.
This is all near “The Big Easy”—the chairlift getting skiers to the resort from the slopes—so access isn’t a problem regardless of your choice in footwear. If you’ve got something against post-slope ribs, just know you’re cruelly forsaking the $10,000 smoker. Assuming you’re okay with that, have a flatbread, a burger or some brats. And it’s a full bar, so...
