We don’t want to speak too soon, but
the mixologists at Russell House Tavern may have achieved a revolutionary breakthrough in cereal
consumption. Or at least created some really tasty drinks. They’re called Magically Delicious
Cocktails. Basically: kids’ cereals pulverized into a dust and then infused into adult beverages.
Here’s a little more info.
Breakfast Bar
Kids’ Cereals. In Your Cocktails.
Cocoa Puff Smash
You require: Something chocolaty, yet puffy. Yet alcoholic.
You’ll receive: Green Chartreuse infused with Cocoa Puffs. Plus some crème de cacao
muddled with lemon and mint, served on the rocks. You’ve always wondered if Cocoa Puffs would pair well
with Chartreuse. (They do.)
Golden Graham Manhattan
You require: A Manhattan. But also... graham crackers.
You’ll receive: Whiskey infused with Golden Grahams, complemented by some Cocchi Vermouth
di Torino and bitters, all served in a coupe glass. Much better than pouring cereal into a saucer of
bourbon.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Mudslide
You require: Something cinnamony. And toasty. And crunchy. With more than a hint of
rum.
You’ll receive: Rum infused with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. (You saw that coming.) But also:
Luxardo Espresso and Irish cream. On the rocks. Rum beats skim milk every time...
Apple Jacks Rose
You require: A beverage with a strong tinge of apple.
You’ll receive: Apple Jacks infused into... applejack. And featuring: housemade grenadine
and lime juice. Delivered to you in a martini glass. Pretty sure these are what sustained Johnny Appleseed.
