Few things: 1) There’s a new pop-up bar from New Zealand’s Moa Brewing Company just across from the America’s Cup finish line. 2) It’s got beer. 3) It’s pirate-themed and called “Bar of Arrr.” 4) Yes, it’s really called “Bar of Arrr.”
If there ever were a time to put on a bunch of preppy equestrian-inspired shirts and jackets and polos, now would be it. Let’s see, there’s the Fourth. There’s the America’s Cup. There’s the fact that all of Barbour’s Polo Club gear is half off right now. See. Told you so.
Occasionally, it behooves you to take a date to, say, the symphony. Or the opera. Or a new Hayes Valley wine-and-dessert bar that’s really close to symphonies and operas. The new Muka location should do. It’s got crunchy chocolate mousse and champagne. So maybe skip the other stuff.
