Hey, long weekend.
That was fun.
But now it’s over, and you’re... surprisingly okay with it.
Must have something to do with this new wine bar.
Pop a cork for Urban Vines Wine Bistro, the kind of neighborhood bar you’ll settle into for hours of good conversation incited by bottles of fermented grapes, now open in East Dallas.
So, you should know that this place is a good little date spot. That’s pretty obvious upon entering. Mostly because it’s got a couple walls covered in wine bottles. Lots of colorful pillows for lounging. And just the right amount of intimate two-person chair configurations required for quality one-on-one time.
Now that that’s established, signal your favorite companion and step inside. There’s a bar right in front. It’s pretty nice. Got stools and whatnot (well, mostly stools). But your best move is heading toward that pillow-clad bench along the wall. Here you can peruse the menu, settle on a nice gewürztraminer and something to pair with it. Let’s say some panini. Because they serve a bunch of panini.
And before summer arrives and renders sitting outside impossible, make sure you spend some time on their front patio. Yeah, the one with a stone fireplace and some wicker chairs. That’s a fine spot for settling in with a couple glasses of vino.
That’s Italian for wine.
