It’s Called No.3. It’s for Your Mom.

May 12: Mother’s Day. Today: the day you visit this new jewelry store in Russian Hill from the Acrimony and Acre girl and pick up a rose gold ring or a sterling silver bracelet for her. And some cufflinks for yourself. Not necessarily in that order.

Now open, No.3, 1987 Hyde St (between Union and Green), 415-525-4683

Friday
Uh-Oh, Here Comes a Roller Disco Party
CAN’T HARDLY SKATE

Uh-Oh, Here Comes a Roller Disco Party

This is pretty simple, really. There’s a new monthly roller disco party in the Mission. They’ll play disco. You’ll skate-dance. It’ll all work out. Oh, and costumes are strongly encouraged. Don’t do anything Earth, Wind & Fire wouldn’t do.

Saturday
Craftsman & Wolves Has Been Busy
LICENSE TO FILL

Craftsman & Wolves Has Been Busy

Couple things going on at Craftsman & Wolves: 1) They just got their beer/wine license and will be open late-ish starting May 6. Translation: brave new world of wine and sloppy joes. 2) They’ll be setting up shop next to Blue Bottle at the Ferry Building on Saturdays now. Translation: yay.

Extended hours nightly, Craftsman & Wolves, 746 Valencia St (at 18th), 415-913-7713; Saturdays, at the Ferry Building (next to Blue Bottle Coffee)

Kentucky Derby. Starlight Room. Nice.
MAY THE HORSE BE WITH YOU

Kentucky Derby. Starlight Room. Nice.

Right. That big horse race in Kentucky. That’s happening Saturday. And so is the Starlight Room’s Derby party. Go for the Southern buffet (deviled eggs, braised brisket with a bourbon-peach glaze...) and stay for the best-dressed contest. Tell your seersucker top hat to look alive.

Sundays Are for Spaghetti Now

You like spaghetti. Spaghetti likes you. Hey, the two of you should get together at Capo’s this Sunday (and every one after that). They’ll be doling out enough spaghetti and meatballs, pasta e fagioli and garlic bread to feed four to six people for $40. Well, that worked out.

Sundays, noon-2:30pm, $40, Capo’s, 641 Vallejo St (near Columbus), 415-986-8998
