This Trunk Club event takes the entire Valentine’s Day industrial complex—trinket sellers, florists, chocolatiers, jewelers, restaurants with a few remaining reservations—locks them all in a room and has them fight to the death. Or just has them sell you stuff. Though we like our idea more.
There’s going to be a lot of talk about jambalaya and crawdads in the next few days. But an old-fashioned New England crab boil—your choice of three pounds of Maryland blue crabs or Bering Sea Dungeness—is also available now. However, it’s strictly BYO beads.

Chicago’s own Leatherbee gin will be on hand at the latest incarnation of Dose Market. Also in attendance: food from Reno and a photo booth that may or may not double as a kissing booth. Depends on how much of that gin you drink, we guess.
