Your Super Bowl party is about to enter the realm of legend, thanks to: 1) 25% off gold-accented bar carts fit for a czar—and your top-shelf liquor. 2) Hand-cured prosciutto delivery (note: goes great with beer). 3) A heap of bacon-filled brownies and cookies. Think of them as party favors.
With the first measurable snowfall in almost a year predicted for this weekend, we know you’re thinking about one thing: your next sailboat. And hence, this sailboat expo has boats, gear and a chance to compete in remote-control-sailboat races. No word on little captain’s hats.
It’s cold. It’s snowy. That’s great if you’re in a French Alps ski lodge. Also great if you’re in a swanky Gold Coast bar throwing a sort-of bash with fondue, DJs, raffles and warm spiced French wine. Once again, no one après-skis like the French après-ski.
This time of year, the days are short, but the week is long. One exception: Whiskey Week seems to fly by before you even knew it existed. (It does.) So saunter into cavernous speakeasy Untitled for two hours of whiskey celebration. By which we mean: gratis whiskey sampling.
The fabled last seating. Things happen. Good things. Chefs let loose. Wine pours get generous. DJs get funky. Expect all of the above at this monthly-supper-club launch. It starts with cocktails, proceeds to a four-course dinner, then magically winds up at Cuvee. But breakfast is up to you.
Of course, a party doesn’t need to begin with anything as elaborate as a full-scale dinner. An hour of complimentary Revolution beer can do the trick. But here’s the important part. It must be followed by you helping to finish a giant paint-by-numbers mural. Then free-form dancing—your preferred medium.
