First full week of 2013: on the books.
In fact, you look like you could use a burger, some beer and maybe a few games of pool.
Oh, look, it’s a place with burgers, beer and pool...
Behold Naked Lunch Pub & Grill, a souped-up extension of that next-door sandwich joint you know and love, now open on Broadway.
Actually, you’ve been here before. It’s just that then, it was called Txoko. They kept the Jeremy Fish mural in the back corner, the communal table and the big corner booth. Better yet, they addressed the critical lack of pool tables.
In fact, the whole vibe here is kind of playroom with a bar. There’s a couple of those billiard tables, some TVs and a Pop-a-Shot-type basketball hoop—for working out those kinks in your jump shot.
You’ll be happy to hear they’re serving up Naked Lunch’s food here, too—you can order burgers and fries, fried-chicken sandwiches, all that stuff, right at the bar. Which, right—the bar. Your play here is a draft beer. They’ve got a bunch of stuff from both near (Russian River, Speakeasy) and far (like Belgium).
You love a good long-distance relationship.
