Cocktailing Under Lake Point Tower

Picture this: it’s getting late. You just got out of a movie. You want a drink. Your date wants a drink. Maybe a bite to eat. Somewhere snug. Sexy. Private.

So far, pretty normal stuff. Then something odd begins to happen. You head east. It looks like you’re heading to Navy Pier. It’s getting closer. And closer. And then, just in the nick of time... you ditch into Lake Point Tower.

Don’t scare us like that.

Anyway, welcome to 120° Ultra Lounge, a new out-of-the-way cocktailing safe haven at the base of Lake Point Tower, ready to enchant your evenings.

If it’s early enough, grab a seat on the patio. Relax with a Rio (basil vodka, pineapple juice, club soda, lemon juice) and share plates of almond-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates and Marrakech chicken lollipops as you watch the last of the season’s fireworks at Navy Pier from a safe distance.

As it gets later, you’ll find all the accoutrements usually reserved for River North clubs: LED lights and a DJ creating just the right amount of ambience. There’s also the right amount of bottle service: you can get a $150 package of smaller half-bottles of vodka, tequila and whiskey.

Perfect for your dates with the triplets.
