Sure, back in the day, they did things right. No question. But they also didn’t have HDTV, and they probably never thought to simultaneously grab a beer and get a trim. So, while you’ll still get your cut, straight-razor shave, hot towels, shoe shine and all of that, you can also watch some football, drink a beer and get a quick chair massage.
Since not many barbershops have black Murano-esque chandeliers, the one here will be your first clue this is not your typical spot. Clue #2 will be the spiffed-up, black-tied/white-shirted barber who greets you. After that, the three oversize flat-screens, leather lounge chairs and velvet bench won’t come as a surprise.
And soon, you’ll be able to pick up cufflinks, bow ties and pocket squares.
