Introducing Company Café, a comfort food mecca on Greenville with possibly the healthiest version of chicken and waffles in Texas, soft-open now.
This is kind of like a greasy spoon, serving up everything from breakfast tacos to short ribs. Except for one major difference: everything’s organic. (This may be a good time to invite Natalie Portman to breakfast...)
The spot’s pretty no-frills—some wooden picnic tables in the front, and on the inside, exposed ceiling beams and a spice rack on the wall.
Now, you could stop by in the morning for The Deep Bowl (potato hash and grass-fed beef). Or crash in here for lunch and their chicken-fried steak (gluten-free, but you don’t need to mention that to anyone).
But today you need something more... stuffed with pork. So you’ll settle into the back banquette and give your waiter the kind of nod that says, “Bring me the chicken and waffles.” (You know the kind.) Then, you’ll peruse their beer and wine menu and top it all off with the Kung Fu Girl Riesling.
