The weekend is your Secret Santa.
Tomorrow, you’re booked. Family. Friends. A little G-rated tomfoolery. In other words, you might want to start sewing some wild oats tonight. And to assist, a little anti-office party with gratis vodka drinks from 9 to 10, DJ’s, plenty of... dressed-down Santa girls and, of course, a naughty photo booth. Your un-naughty photo shoot can wait until tomorrow.
Davio’s Steakhouse. We’re willing to bet you usually find yourself there for... steaks. But tomorrow night, not so much. Because that’s when their Feast of the Seven Fishes will have you coasting through a five-course seafood dinner (mussels, Georgia mountain trout, poached lobster...), all paired with wine. Just don’t show up late to Christmas morning.
But if Christmas morning (or Christmas in general) isn’t your thing, you’ll find your party at Whiskey Blue’s Jewish-y bash, Chinese Food and a Movie. Expect an open vodka bar from 9 to 11, passed samosas and spring rolls, and movies like Airplane and Old School on the big screen. Frank the Tank sends his regards.
You were just thinking... the restaurant gimmick scene has been quiet lately. And as luck would have it, Pacci will be handing out swag-filled envelopes with each check, which aren’t to be opened until your next visit. Expect anything from a gratis cocktail party at AltoRex to a weekend stay at Hotel Palomar. Like last weekend, only free.
We figured we’d give you a solid head start on this one. Partly because there’s only 100 spots, but mainly because a disco ball, ’70s music and a whole Berkshire hog roast are involved. Oh, and about 23 other courses from the Muss & Turner’s crew. Not including your self-procured gin course(s).
