The weekend never forgets a face.
Sometimes you just need a break from what some might consider the more... traditional holiday festivities. Tonight is one of those times. So you’ll want to go to your closet, find the ugliest, Christmas-iest sweater available and proceed directly to the Cheetah. Your hosts may or may not be wearing sweaters.
This weather’s got you thinking. A mojito would be nice. Maybe some oysters. Oh, and a red-eye to Bora Bora. But while we’re on the subject, The Big Ketch just rolled out a new happy hour with $5 mojitos and a dozen oysters for $6. Bora Bora’s not going anywhere.
This weekend, you will don an upsettingly small piece of swimwear, round up a few bikini-clad Ms. Clauses and take to the streets of Virginia Highland for the Atlanta Santa Speedo Run. And when the smoke clears, you’ll find yourself at the finish line. Which is also a bar. Which also encourages bikinis.
And while we’re on the subject of seasonal merriment, we may as well point you in the direction of a little holiday-themed stage show involving a rock orchestra, the Dames Aflame Dancers and, of course, a very tiny Santa. Somehow you knew there’d be a tiny Santa in the mix.
Of course, you could always toss a few bocce balls at Empire State South this Saturday. But while you’re there, you may as well stick around for the four-course brunch that Chef Hugh put together. Each course will be paired with a different Henri Giraud champagne... you know, in case you forgot it was brunch.
