Consider Thanksgiving. Family. Turkey. Stuffing... sure. But at the end of the day, there always seems to be one constant: booze. We suggest you embrace this tonight at Atkins Park’s Thanksgiving Eve party for live music from Lost City with Sweetwater and whiskey specials all night. You can eat it off tomorrow.
If you happen to be going rogue tomorrow, we say do it right. And you can start by grabbing a date and heading up to wine country (well, close enough, anyway) for Montaluce Winery’s Thanksgiving brunch with Brasstown Beef prime rib, turkey (shocker) and every traditional side imaginable. Which also pairs well with every traditional wine imaginable.
It’s tough to say good-bye. Especially to a place like Dynamic Dish, which happens to be permanently closing its doors tomorrow night. But not before rolling out an epic Thanksgiving spread (roasted beet soup, organic turkey and sweet apple salad...). They’re almost booked, but you can always take your chances at the BYOB bar. An action that has yet to fail you.
This weekend, before you hit the new rink at Park Tavern, you’ll grab a table, shoot your server a knowing glance and casually say the following words... Salt. Block. Experience. You’ll then be presented with a red-hot Himalayan salt block, upon which you’ll skillfully sear your own sashimi-grade fish and Wagyu beef. You never ice-skate without Wagyu.
Sure, everyone loves a parade. But more often than not, they just seem to be missing something. Mainly a bunch of girls adorned with flashing lights dancing and flying around. Oh, and a live performance by Big Boi from Outkast couldn’t hurt either. It’s called Hinterland, and it happens Saturday night. Might still want to bring your sunglasses, though.
